Computed Tomography
CT (computed tomography)is a diagnostic tool that uses special x-ray equipment to obtain images from different angles around your body and in conjunction with a computer shows the information as a cross-section slice of your body.
CT imaging is particularly useful because it can show several types of tissue—lung, bone, soft tissue and blood vessels—with great clarity. CT’s allows your physician and the radiologist to easily diagnose problems such as cancers, cardiovascular disease, infectious disease, trauma and musculoskeletal disorders.
