Dr. Janet Hope Sherman completed her radiology residency at New England Deaconess Hospital, and Harvard Medical School, and a one year MRI fellowship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), including Magnetic Resonance Angiography at Beth Israel Hospital, and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sherman is experienced in the field, and enthusiastically offers clinically focused, advanced specialized MRI. “Patient tailored MRI, MRA (MR angiography) and MRV (MR venography), allows us to optimally image a broad range of anatomy. Non-invasive vascular MR, with and or without contrast, including non-contrast MR peripheral vascular, renal and mesenteric MRA, enable diagnostic assessment regardless of kidney function, without radiation. Advanced body and neurological arterial and venous evaluation is vital to patients and practitioners. Assessing arterial blockages (stenosis) and target identification provides a road map, guiding treatment, intervention and limb salvage, fostering wound healing and preventative care. This is very important for patients with arterial disease, including atherosclerosis, and diabetic patients. I am delighted to be able to help more patients.”
Dr. Sherman offers multi-field strength MRI and also provides special dedication to large and claustrophobic patients.
